We are looking for the experienced software developer
RTE develops testing systems for acoustically testing materials and noise of components and assemblies, which are manufactured serially.
With the new development of our testing software (SonicTC), we are pursuing the objective of providing users with a particularly simple, intuitive as well as graphically supported operation. In particular, test procedures and feature configurations are automated over graphically configured workflows. Furthermore, a special feature is the simple integration into heterogeneous industrial automation environments.
The system and software architecture is flexible and future-oriented to the highest degree and permits scaling of a stand-alone installation through to distributed applications to the central control room. The software will be developed as a service oriented architecture (SOA). We used WCF for the client server communication. The layer concept enables the dependencies (dependency injection) of the different tasks (separation of concerns) to be reduced. The entities are exchanged with the data base over object-relational mapping (ORM) and processed by using CRUD methods. We avoid code-behind by the consistent use of the MVVM pattern. The surface of SonicTC is realized using the PRISM framework as “composite application UI“.

- Very good experience with C# and .NET 4.0
- Experience with surface development with WPS and MWM patterns
- A knowledge of asynchronous and event-based implementation
- A good knowledge of the English language
- Knowledge of acoustic signal analysis would be helpful
