The acoustic test hammer SONIC.MLNR is a highly precise measuring device for determining the resonance frequencies of components and material structures. The system has been specially developed for mobile use in harsh environments. Its robust design allows easy handling even under difficult conditions. An integrated airborne-sound microphone records the resonance frequencies, and all measurement data is captured, stored and documented.
The acoustic testing method enables efficient inspection and quality control of components, building structures and material microstructures. In the process, strength, cavities and connection quality are tested.
Typical applications:
• Testing the strength of material structures
• Condition/status monitoring of components
• Monitoring of anchors
• Monitoring of load-bearing structures
• Determination of natural frequencies
Materials: metal, concrete, stone, composites, wood, plastic.
Fields of application: construction, industry, others.
Your benefits at a glance:
- Robust design: Perfect for outdoor use, including transport case and optional rugged tablet.
- Flexible use: Interchangeable impact tips for optimal excitation of a wide range of materials.
- Fast measurement: The measurement signal is evaluated directly and the results are displayed visually.
- Compatibility: All measurement data can be acquired and documented with common data acquisition modules.
We will be happy to advise you for best operation!
THE TANDEM: HARDWARE & SOFTWARE PERFECTLY COMBINED
In combination with our SONIC.MLNR test hammer, our SonicTC test software delivers a powerful, mobile and network-ready testing solution. It combines innovative hardware with optimized software to create a flexible system that is ideal for use on construction sites and in industrial environments. A particular highlight is the comprehensive database, which enables central storage and flexible evaluation of all data.
Functions at a glance:
- Testing: Preconfigured test procedures from the database, easily adaptable for single-point or area-wide component testing.
- Evaluation: Anomalies in the frequency spectrum are detected using intelligent signal evaluation algorithms – for fast, objective and statistically sound assessment.
- Documentation: Results and reports are stored centrally and can be supplemented with additional measurement data and images. Perfect for later re-evaluation.
ACOUSTIC RESONANCE ANALYSIS & RTE EXPERTISE: PRECISION MEETS EXPERIENCE
Acoustic resonance analysis makes use of the physical effect of resonance frequencies:
After a vibration excitation, the component begins to oscillate at its characteristic resonance frequencies. These are primarily determined by its geometry and material properties. Changes in the structure or material influence the resonances and are thus detected in a non-destructive way.
Your benefits:
- Comparative and non-destructive testing method
- High sensitivity to changes and defect detection
- Reproducible and objective test results
RTE has many years of experience in the use of acoustic resonance analysis – from material testing to component inspection. Our expertise ensures reliable test results. Rely on our know-how and experience for precise and efficient testing processes!
